      The marriage took place on Saturday at St. John's Cathedral, Portsmouth, of Lieut. James S. Dalglish, R.N., eldest son of the late Rear Admiral Dalglish, and Mrs. Dalglish, and Miss Evelyn Mary Meyricke, eldest daughter of the Rev. A. Ll. Meyricke, Vicar of Aislaby, near Whitby, and of Mrs. Meyricke.

      Well-known in Naval Rugby circles, Lieut. James Stephen Dalglish, R.N., son of Mrs. R. C. Dalglish and the late Rear-Admiral Dalglish, formerly Commander-in-Chief of the Australian Navy, was married at St. John's Cathedral, Portsmouth, this afternoon, to Miss Evelyn Mary Meyricke, daughter of the REv. A. Ll. Meyricke and Mrs. Meyricke, of Aislaby Vicarage, Sleights, Yorkshire. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. W. H. Purcell, Senior Roman Catholic Naval Chaplain.
